They never cancelled the subscription and upon trying to do it myself I got the same message as before. But when I was charged again for March I knew something was up. ![]() I figured the February charge was due to the time of processing the closing of the account overlapping the billing date. However after that I received a charge for both February and March for continued subscription. After that was completed the account would be closed. They informed me I'd have to withdraw the $10 I had from when In opened the account. I had no assets so I spoke with a representative via chat. Upon attempting to close my account I got a notification saying that I could not close due to having an IRA account and that I'd need to sell assets in order to close. I’m waiting 5 days for a observation review but nobody explain to me what that is why is it in place when I never asked for this feature I never want the bank to have control to stop my money when its mine unless I say I to do so I got all the account information but can’t get my account unlock today I’ll be going some where I can get speedy response and resolution I don’t do business with companies that don’t know how to treat they customerįebruary 2023 I attempted to close my Stash account as I had not used the subscription service and wasn't a fan of their platform. ![]() I’m definitely taking my business else where. The banking customer service reps are useless no point they can’t help you they got to email the ppl that can actually help you not a good thing when ppl work for they money if you want to invest and don’t know how use Robin Hood or Acorn less of a headache when it comes to checking accounts stir clear Stride Bank sucks in my opinion. Do not I repeat do not go to stash for a checking account it’s pointless they control your money more then you do and the customer service reps treat you as if you an inconvenience not a valued customer.
